This gateway is a free protocol CAN2.0A/B to PROFINET gateway CAN@PROFINET A type of gateway. The gateway is a PROFINET IO slave on the PROFINET side, and the protocol on the CAN interface side is CAN2.0A/B, supporting free protocol communication based on CAN2.0A/B.
The content of this gateway free protocol message is implemented through programming of the main station PLC/DCS. Time based periodic transmission control does not require programming, and different periodic intervals can be selected for transmission in the main station configuration (such as STEP7); Event based sending requires programming control.
This gateway can be used for one to many or one-to-one integration of CAN devices, meeting the technical requirements for various CAN device instruments to connect to PROFINET networks and achieve PROFINET controller monitoring of CAN devices.
